Rowton Rainbows

Rainbows logoRainbows is for all girls aged five to seven and is the youngest section of Girlguiding.  Rowton Rainbows meet on a Tuesday evening from 6-7pm during term time.  The group is open to all girls who live in the local area.

Being a Rainbow is all about having the space to try new things.  Through taking part in a range of different activities, with girls their own age, Rainbows develop self-confidence and make lots of new friends.

Rainbows follow a fun and exciting programme called the Rainbow Jigsaw.  The four areas are Look, Learn, Laugh and Love.  Rainbows can achieve Roundabout badges by taking part in activities during meetings.  These usually have a theme such as Festivals or Seasons.

After Rainbows, girls can continue their adventure at Brownies!  There are several groups that meet nearby.

Rainbow Leaders are volunteers and undertake regular training in first aid, child safety, safeguarding, running activities and planning trips away.  Like most groups, we are always pleased to have additional volunteers so let us know if you can help in any way.
